课题组现阶段的研究工作围绕细胞稳态调控,主要集中于线粒体应激的分子机制研究以及细胞在营养物质匮乏时的应激性代谢调控机制。
线粒体是细胞内的重要器官。它不仅为细胞提供能量,同时也参与许多信号传导通路和细胞凋亡过程。实验室以线虫为模式动物,希望从机体、组织和细胞等多层面深入理解线粒体损伤是如何被感知并进而启动相应的保护和修复机制的。线粒体损伤是衰老的重要诱因之一。因此,对线粒体监察的研究不仅将揭示线粒体损伤修复的调控机制,也将为衰老相关疾病的治疗提供靶向基因。
此外,课题组也以哺乳动物细胞和线虫为模型,结合生物化学、遗传学和细胞生物学的手段,希望解析机体感知营养物质和能量状态的分子机制。对该过程的研究将会对肥胖、糖尿病以及癌症等发病机制的理解起到促进作用。
